Microneedling After-care Kit

After microneedling, it's all about collagen induction and soothing. You want to treat skin very delicately while at the same time helping it heal by using the appropriate herbal products with the nutrients and rich moisturizers that your skin needs. We also want to seal in the new hydration that our natural hyaluronic acid has created. All of this will reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Your microneedling professional probably gave you a handout about after-care. Don't wash right away; wait at least four hour for washing. Your skin may feel warm and tight and look red for one to three days. Some redness may also be present and in some cases, patients may experience slight bruising that can last for 5-7 days and temporary swelling for 2-4 days.

Wakame Stem Cell Eye Cream

1. To keep it clean and hydrated, gently dab on the Astragalus and Geranium Toner (with your clean hand or a gauze square); don't rub. Astragalus helps regenerate flesh so is great when we've had a produced that's a little "damaging."  Hyaluronic acid can be used following microneedling and our Astragalus and Geranium Toner has hyaluronic acid in it. It is recommended to help stimulate collagen production after your procedure.

2. Next, your skin needs vitamin C to heal well so spritz on the Your Daily C Elixir.

3. Take one drop (yes, just one) of the Edelweiss for your Eyes, dab 1/2 under one eye and 1/2 under the other and pat the serum in that area. Then, take one drop and do the same on the skin around your lips. This product will help prevent the recurrence of Crow's feet and lines around the lips that the microneedling can help.

4. Last, gently put on the Wakame Stem Cell Eye Cream all over your face. The name says "eye cream" but there are cases where we use it all over the face because of the healing power of its stem cells.

Also, if your skin is feeling extra dry even after following our protocol, it's generally safe to apply coconut oil as an emollient to lock in moisture and hydrate your face after microneedling.
