Hair loss is frustrating. But there are some tips to help with hair loss. The stress hormone cortisol not only makes us edgy and blue, but it can triple hair loss because our adrenal glands are working nonstop.

Tip 1: Try to spend about a half hour a day relaxing to decrease cortisol production and help hair regrowth.

Tip 2: Clean your scalp (using gentle massage) to help reduce the production of DHT - a hormone that damages hair follicles and causes thinning. You can use our Healthy Scalp and Hair Oil or even peppermint oil itself can help block the production of DHT.

Tip 3: Drinking a couple of glasses of green tea can help thicken hair in about three months. The EGCG in green tea helps decrease DHT.

Tip 4: Dermarolling or microneedling can also help invigorate your scalp. If you live in Denver or Littleton you can see Dr. Martha Lucas, L.Ac. (the creator of My Zen Skin Care) for a treatment.

Tip 5: Eat extra protein. You may not be getting enough protein each day and that can affect your hair growth.
